Anyone got connection to Google Cloud? A few months back, I tried BigQuery and got a huge bill in a few hours. I don’t think it makes sense. It is like a clickbait. First I googled and it showed me a marketplace page with a list of links to Try Out (on the page) and it didn’t notify about costs but just volume of data it is going to query, which ended up >30k in a few hours. I heard there is the similar case with the same dataset, and finally the 58k USD got waived. By the way, I searched the definition of clickbait and Canada Competition Act, such marketing practices are prohibited. Users should be notified about the approximate costs explicitly. It was a huge surprise to me, and I filed a support case right away. I am going to fight back to the end.
