A place for non-work-related flimflam, faffing, hodge-podge or jibber-jabber you’d prefer to keep out of more focused work-related channels.

Hey everyone 👋,
over the past few weeks, we’ve heard the same set of questions from platform + DevOps leaders when it comes to AI tooling in eng teams:
• “Which tools/features are actually used across our teams?”
• “Which AI use cases are meaningful and which are just distractions?”
• “Where in the SDLC do AI tools help vs. hurt?”
• “How do we measure real value vs. perceived value?"
We’re now building a new feature within our DevEx platform to help answer exactly those questions. Giving leaders clear insights into AI tool adoption, best practice use cases and impact across the SDLC.
🎯 To built this right, we're looking to speak to some more platform and DevOps leaders who are also asking these questions.
We'd love to know:
• Which questions are top of mind?
• How are you approaching them atm?
• What's been hardest so far?
If this resonates, drop a 👍️ or directly book a 30-min call with me.
🎁 As a thank-you, you’ll get free early access to the new feature.
Thanks a million in advance + happy weekend,
☀️ Sebastian

hey folks: I helped build Reacheraven (https://reacheraven.io/ - code at https://github.com/reacheraven). It’s a lightweight monitor + status page: runs HTTP/ping/port checks, fires e-mail/Slack alerts, and leverages an LLM to summarise logs and spot root causes. worth a look!

A close friend of mine built this tool called Popgot and it’s honestly cool if you’re trying to save money on groceries or daily products.
You just type in stuff like “bounty” or “detergent” and it checks Amazon, Walmart, Costco, and Target to find the cheapest cost per ounce / sheet / pod / whatever. It even decodes all the confusing “mega pack” / “family size” BS so you actually know what’s the best deal.
I found a huge Tide jug for crazy cheap that was buried on like page 4 of Costco. It’s free, no sign-up, and weirdly satisfying to see who’s trying to rip you off.
Check it out: 👉️ Tide jug here

GPT-5 promotion period is ended. My 2 cents, it is not as good as Claude, but better than Gemini.

Hey Folks, I am Sudhish - and I run a dev-studio called MyTyTech Labs. We just completed 300+ software tech projects for companies in AI space last week, and decided to take some time to redesign our own website. As part of the redesign of our website (still a work in progress), I wrote a blog for Software Engineers -> focused on “AI / Code / Human Brain : Why prototyping is easy but production is hard”. Do give it a read, and if you like it subscribe to the newsletter (subscribe is at the bottom of the blog).
We plan to conduct more workshops, trainings, showcase our learnings around AI in the near future. If y’all are interested hit me up - happy to collaborate.

Hi, I was reading this blog https://www.clouddefense.ai/mcp-vs-codium-ai/ along with some other such as cursor vs windsurf and stuff. Is someone using vibe coding considered incompetent? or is it going to be(or already has) the new norm?

Hi folks !
In 12 years of QA career, me and my team have faced the biggest headache in the name of flaky test or we can say false test failures. Being fooled again and again for these fake failures , cost us 6-8 hours a week.
After facing this frustration for years, me and my team decided to make an AI-powered analytics layer for Playwright testing teams that automatically separates real test failures from flaky noise.
The name of that AI solution is 𝗧𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗼, and we are happily launching it today.
We are also launching on Product Hunt🚀
