#helmfile - June 2023

👋 I'm starting to use helmfile for a microservices deployment, and each service has its own helmfile that specifies their deps as helmfiles: so that you can apply each service independently and ensure it's deps are installed. This works well, but trying to run helmfile deps seems to cause the same charts to get re-pulled for every commonly shared deps. Is this expected, or is there some way to optimize it?

Hi. I’m trying to fetch charts using helmfile. There’s a --output-dir-template flag than can be used to template the path, but I wonder if it’s possible to use the url for path instead of {{ .ChartName }}?
