Hello everyone!
I am a DevOps Engineer with 2.5 yrs of xp, and I am a U.S Citizen who is working currently from India(BLR), I am looking for a switch so I can move back to the states. If the company does not have a relocation policy, then I will gladly relocate myself. I am facing an issue currently when I apply on job portals for US location, my profile does not reach the hiring manager, so no matter how strong my resume is, it gets rejected because in the application my current location in India. It would be great if I could get some guidance here : )

Hey everyone!
I will be relocating to Seattle next month and will locally navigate the job market for DevOps/Infrastructure roles. My concern is - I'm trying to gauge if a 3 to 4-month job search is realistic, and if a search stretches to 6+ months, do recruiters view that as a major red flag, or is it pretty understandable right now?

The job market is brutal right now. Great engineers are sending 1k+ applications into ATS black holes and hearing nothing back. I’ve been on the other side of this — I previously built an ATS to help employers hire better — and I can tell you: the resume that gets seen by a human wins, almost every time.
So I’m building Pathwand (pathwand.com) to flip the problem around and work for candidates instead.
Instead of “apply and pray,” Pathwand gets your resume in front of the actual recruiters and hiring managers who are scouting for your role right now (all from your inbox) — through real human connections, not another job board. The goal is simple: induce interviews, not just applications.
