🚀 Snr Engineering Manager, SRE - Americas 🚀 (Fully Remote)

Calling all my Infrastructure Leaders! Hopin is currently searching for an experienced SRE Manager to hire, grow, and lead our to-be Americas SRE team (almost) from scratch.

We're currently scaling our platform to support 5mil+ concurrent viewers, looking towards a hybrid cloud setup and are planning on integrating our new acquisitions into our existing infrastructure setup. Infrastructure and systems reliability is mission critical. We are growing our infrastructure team to help in our mission bringing security to the new work from anywhere movement.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and extend our Kubernetes platform
• Improve Performance & Reliability of our production platform
• Ensure proper observability of the production systems
• Assist with database and service performance tuning
• Collaborate with Development Engineers on impacts of new features
• Identify architecture bottlenecks and work with Engineering on new solutions
• Collaborate with Support on operational runbooks

Experience:
• Kubernetes
• Terraform
• GCP Cloud and multi-cloud experience preferred
• Container lifecycle
• Programming Go, Python or similar
• Database optimization
• Network level troubleshooting
