60 interviews in 30 days…. must be nice to have that level of local demand for tech workers.

i've had great results with that in practice too. work's a thing we do, not just a place we go 🙂

Time zones suck though. 3 hours can work, but any more than that and it starts getting painful

agreed on the time zone thing. it becomes very important to emphasize and cultivate a culture of async everything, or regional teams where only leads worry about pre-coordinated regular sync meetings

He there,
I'm searching for someone that can help us improve our terragrunt file-structure, aws infrastructure and help us optimize for scaling. Introducing the best practices. If you know someone or you are the one please send me a pm.
Thanks!

[Hiring] [Remote] [Full-time] [DevOps] [Leadership]
Hey ya’ll — One of my long time clients is looking for a Lead DevOps engineer and Team Leader to run the DevOps ship on their product. They’re a consulting firm who is branching into the product world and it looks like it will be a high growth environment over the coming years. Small team right now, but will be growing quickly to meet their demand. I’m currently filling this technical and people leadership role for them, so if you’re interested then you’d be interviewing and then working directly with me as I handoff the ownership part.
The stack was recently restructured by myself and another engineer from ECS to the following: SOA architecture, AWS, EKS, Terraform, Helm.
The company itself is awesome — I’ve been consulting for them on other projects for a bit over 2 years and their CEO, CTO, and new VP of engineering are all great folks who I would highly recommend working with. The engineering team for the product itself is small right now, but fantastic engineers and will be growing significantly in the coming months/year.
Here is the req: https://www.stuzo.com/careers/director-of-devops-and-infrastructure/
Feel free to ping me if you’ve got any questions or want to chat about the role. If you’re interested and qualified then I can intro you over to the hiring manager. Company and product team are primarily Philly / Kiev based, but they’re open to remote.
